A system rather than a list of commands

Teaching a cue is easy compared with making it useful in normal life. We build a communication system the dog can understand: what earns reward, how the cue is presented, what release means, how difficulty is increased and how distractions are introduced without setting the dog up to fail.

From the kitchen to the real world

Training progresses by gradually changing distance, duration and distraction, with lead skills and real-world practice added where needed.

Owner skill matters

Timing, consistency and clarity from the handler make a major difference. My role is not only to teach the dog but to make sure you understand what to do when I am not there.
